Sherry Leigh Miller, had many interests, hobbies

Sherry Leigh Miller, 76, of Lewes, passed away after a long battle with cancer Friday, July 28, 2023, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born Feb. 16, 1947, in Sunbury, Pa., daughter of the late Melvin and Kathleen Zerbe.

Sherry married Rollin E. Miller in Charleston, W.Va., Sept. 20, 1977, and together they spent nearly 50 years of happy marriage. She worked most of her life in retail, but home was where her heart was, and raising her children was always a priority. Sherry had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed playing cards and computer games, had an extensive collection of Elvis memorabilia, and never missed her daytime TV shows. More than anything, Sherry loved the time she spent with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Loved by all who knew her, she will be deeply and genuinely missed.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her brother, Skip Zerbe; and her mother-in-law, Nancy L. Miller. She is survived by her beloved husband, Rollin E. Miller Sr.; her children, Tracy L. McNaughton of Richfield, Pa., Rollin E. Miller Jr. of Sunbury, Pa., and Robert E. Miller of Georgetown, S.C.; her 10 grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. 

Final care has been entrusted to Watson-Yates Funeral Home & Crematorium, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, Seaford.
