Shirley F. Panuska-Carter, Beebe retiree
Shirley F. Panuska-Carter, 84, of Milton, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Milford Center in Milford.
Shirley was born May 19, 1938, to her parents, Frank J. Jr. and Hulda T. (Reed) Panuska in Milford.
She was employed at Draper King Cole in Milton for many years in the labeling department. Shirley retired from Beebe Hospital in Lewes; she worked in the registration department. Her favorite hobby was her horses, Shasha and Chip, along with many animals through the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Dallas G. Roach. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Leslie F. Herrington-Leisure; son-in-law, Micheal L. Leisure; grandchildren, Kenny J. Smith of Seaford, and Logan A.M. Leisure of Milton; a great-grandson, Hayden Smith of Seaford; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Milton.
Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
