Shortridge gets an A for recent letter

April 30, 2024

Many years ago, Dan Shortridge was a ninth-grade student in my English class in the Academic Challenge program at Del Tech. I knew then that he would be successful in anything he chose to do. His excellent letter titled "Today's Delaware needs to be documented" in the April 23 edition certainly affirms that early prediction. His commitment to the history of Delaware is clearly expressed, and he presents a persuasive case for documenting and preserving that history. Bravo, Dan! You have indeed earned your grade of A.
