Slaughter Beach sunrise

Dean Donovan captured this colorful sunrise May 8 at Slaughter Beach. The adage “Red sky at night, sailors’ delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning” comes to mind and mostly holds true. It’s hard to remember what the weather did May 8.
