Snyder-Hall has deep knowledge of the issues

October 8, 2024

Claire Snyder-Hall has earned our vote to succeed Pete Schwartzkopf as the state representative for RD 14 (Rehoboth, Dewey, and part of Lewes).

She has tirelessly knocked on doors throughout the district and attended countless community meetings to describe her qualifications and explain her positions on the important issues facing eastern Sussex County and Delaware as a whole. I first met Claire at one small community meeting to discuss alternative energy proposals, and had the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics with her one-on-one. I was extremely impressed with her deep knowledge of the issues and delighted that we had the opportunity to have such qualified and enlightened representation for RD 14.

It’s not surprising that Claire, having spent 20 years as a teacher and professor, has been endorsed by the Delaware State Education Association. For five years, she led the non-partisan, statewide organization, Common Cause Delaware, which strives to ensure that voting in Delaware is safe, secure and accessible to all eligible voters, and that our state government is transparent and accountable. Through that position, she has developed a network of good relations with state and community leaders, and a thorough understanding of how our state and local government works.

Claire is a passionate supporter of our public schools. She will also fight relentlessly to protect our environment from the adverse effects of climate change and rampant overdevelopment, and to advance our transition to clean energy. She will work to bring more affordable child care services and long-term care services to our area, and she will always advocate for ethical, open government free of the influence of dark money. The one thing she will not do is to accept the status quo simply because that’s the way things have always been done.

I strongly urge you to vote for Claire Snyder-Hall for state representative for RD 14.
