SoDel Concepts promotes Bain to events director at Clubhouse at Baywood

Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, recently announced the promotion of Rachael Bain to the position of director of events at the Clubhouse at Baywood in Millsboro, an event venue and one of the hospitality group’s 10 restaurants. She was previously an event coordinator at the site.

The New Castle County native graduated with a degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Delaware. While in college, she spent a semester as an intern in the food-and-beverage program at Walt Disney World. She also interned as an event planner at the Virden Retreat Center in Lewes.

Bain began working at the Clubhouse at Baywood in 2015, but she was no stranger to the restaurant. Her sister was married there in 2014.

Danielle Panarello, director of operations at the Clubhouse at Baywood, said Bain has shown enthusiasm for her job from the beginning.

“Rachael is an excellent example of someone who loves their work,” Panarello said. “She gets excited about every event – and we have many! – and she loves being part of a couple’s wedding day. It’s been rewarding to watch her grow. We’re lucky to have her with us.”
