Solar panels destroyed in Rehoboth fire

The fire happened about 12:30 p.m.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed solar panels on the roof.
A fire Feb. 27 destroyed solar panels on the roof of a Rehoboth Yacht and Country Club home.
Firefighters with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co. were dispatched at 12:31 p.m. to 10 Lands End Drive where they found the roof on fire, officials said.
Lewes and Indian River firefighters assisted with putting out the fire. There were no reported injuries. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
