Southern Delaware Tourism held its Tourism Partners Expo April 15 at Nassau Valley Vineyards, Lewes.
This annual expo is an opportunity for tourism-related businesses in Sussex County to showcase their offerings to representatives of area accommodations providers and tourism ambassadors so they, in turn, can share the information with their guests and visitors for the coming season. Exhibitors included outfitters, historical societies, attractions, event organizers, transportation providers and tour companies.
The expo also provided an opportunity for exhibitors to highlight new offerings, as well as the chance for tourism partners to get creative – to network and brainstorm about ways of working together to provide new experiences for visitors and locals alike.
This year’s expo featured 17 exhibitors. Lana O’Hollaren, Southern Delaware Tourism marketing manager, was pleased with the conversations and collaborations the expo encourages between tourism partners. “And of course,” she said, “Our hotel partners discovered many new activities and experiences throughout Sussex County to share with their guests.”
