Special batch of Lewes Dairy egg nog prepared for Christmas in July

Lewes Dairy has never made its famous egg nog other than at Christmas time. This week, however, the dairy produced a special large batch for the Christmas in July event it is hosting Monday, July 3, at American Legion Post 17. Lewes Dairy President Chip Brittingham, right, and his helper Santa Claus are shown whipping up some egg nog in time for the activities that include a 5K run and Kiddie K event.
