Steven Gregory Billups, fine arts photographer
Steven Gregory Billups, 62, of Lewes, passed away at Christiana Hospital Sunday, March 3, 2024. He was born March 1, 1962, in Stockton, Calif., son of Carl and the late Mary (Benedicto) Billups.
A native of California, Steven graduated from Tokay High in Lodi and received his bachelor of fine arts degree from California State University in San Jose. He was a fine arts photographer, showing work in regional galleries and freelancing for local media. Steven was a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany.
Steven is survived by his wife, Katharina Billups; his daughter, Martha, both of Lewes; his sister, Carla of North Carolina; and his father, Carl of Oregon.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
