The Sunday Snowball 5K on a balmy day by the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park turned everyone into a meteorologist, a fancy word for “Your guess is as good as mine.”
A small pack of 123 runners happily ran the course with Logan Dunn getting back first in a time of 17:47. Ulises Castaneda was second in 19:13 followed by Jannsen Pacarro in 19:29, Chris Stanley in 19:45 and Jamie Cantlon in 20:49.
Lisa Sherman was the first woman in 21:54 followed by Katie Kuhlman in 22:11, Sheryl Kline in 23:56, Jane Boyd in 25:33 and Tatiana Ramirez in 25:34.
The next Seashore Striders event is the Thursday, Dec. 31 Race into the New Year 5K at noon beginning at the Bandstand off the Boardwalk in Rehoboth.
