SunFestival 2024 brings an end-of-summer party

September 7, 2024

CAMP Rehoboth celebrated Labor Day with the annual SunFestival 2024 at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. It is known as the ultimate party to close out the summer, with all proceeds benefiting CAMP Rehoboth.

Saturday and Sunday were two nights of fun, with headlining entertainment and globally renowned DJs.

Saturday featured the musical talents of Corey Andrew and a live auction by auctioneer Lorne Crawford. Comedian Joe Dombrowski was the headline entertainment, as he brought his hilarious set to the convention center.

Sunday’s party was rocking to the pulse-pumping music of nationally known DJs Robbie Leslie and Joe Gauthreaux.

More than 2,000 attendees enjoyed the weekend’s event.

“I couldn't be more pleased with how well both events turned out,” said SunFestival Co-chair Mike DeFlavia. “The attendees had a great time, and comedian Joe Dombrowski was absolutely hysterical. I continue to be amazed at the generosity of our sponsors and live auction bidders and winners.”

"This year's event topped all previous year's fundraisers,” said SunFestival Co-chair Lewis Dawley. “Attendees loved the Saturday show starting with opening act by Corey Andrew and headliner comedian sensation Joe Dombrowski. The evening's live auction broke all records, and Sunday's dance brought the entire community together for a night of celebration, love, friendship and belonging."
