Sunshine Circle Club provides Easter baskets for sick, elderly
Members continue 30-year tradition of giving

Members of the Sunshine Circle Club gathered at Friendship Baptist Church in Lewes on Good Friday, March 29, to pack 80 Easter baskets full of snacks, candy and hygiene products for sick and elderly community members.
Club President Bernice Edwards said the club, with its motto “Women Involved with Community,” has been providing the cheerful baskets with donated items from club members for more than 30 years, and the club has been operating for 62 years.
Members deliver the goodies to a list of recipients throughout the Cape Region, and any additional baskets are taken to local assisted-living facilities.
