Support Lisa Blunt Rochester and renewable energy

March 11, 2022

Reading a recent editorial about Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, I am grateful that she and Sens. Coons and Carper are addressing the most urgent challenge before us; if they and others do not, then all other decisions become easy as they’ll be made for us.

Among the popular benefits of President Biden's recently announced Build a Better America (including providing for child care, furthering education for preschoolers and reducing prescription costs) are incentives to invest in renewable energy, thereby putting us on track for significantly addressing the defining concern of the 21st century: Climate change.

May we and all our representatives appreciate the dire nature of what’s before us, the undisputed evidence from more than 2,000 of the world’s leading climatologists. Subsequent generations and all life will appreciate our thoughtful resolve and enduring response.
