Susan May Maxwell, 60, of Millsboro, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Jersey City, N.J., and graduated from Trenton State in 1985. Susan was a caring, dedicated registered nurse for over 25 years. She found happiness in her love for gardening and her several rescue cats.
Susan is predeceased by her father, Thomas Hanley; and her mother, Carolee Hanley.
She is survived by her husband, David Maxwell of Millsboro; her son, Kyle Maxwell of Salisbury, Md.; and her daughter, Kayla Maxwell of Millsboro. Susan is also survived by her aunt, Linda Olsen of Boylston, Mass.
