Sussex Academy track athletes finish strong at Cambridge

The Sussex Academy track & field teams traveled to Cambridge March 25 to compete in an early-season invitational.
Sadie Tunnell had a strong afternoon, claiming a pair of wins in the 400 and 800 meters. She also finished second in the 100-meter dash.
Teammate Lily Bowe took second place in the 3,200 meters in a time of 12:33.
The 4-by-400-meter relay team finished fourth, while Alyssa Oscar took fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 29-feet-1.5-inches.
On the boys’ side, the 4-by-400 relay team took fourth, while William Ducote took sixth in the 400 meters.
