The Sussex Family YMCA hosted its annual Healthy Kids Day April 20 in Rehoboth Beach. This free event featured a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families and a healthy start to the summer season.
According to the YMCA, Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. The goal of the day is to get more kids moving and learning, creating healthy habits they can continue while they’re away from the classroom.
