Sussex Pain Relief Center relocates to Rehoboth Beach

February 2, 2021

Sussex Pain Relief Center is making new strides in pain management by expanding the number of therapies available to patients and moving to a new location in Rehoboth Beach.

Officially open for business since Jan. 18, the office offers new and follow-up patients interventional pain medicine services via both in-person and telemedicine appointments.

Interventional pain medicine applies technology and research to create evidence-based, precision-driven tools. Pain practitioners use the tools to isolate the source of the pain and treat it at its origin.

Sussex Pain Relief Center services include advanced spinal procedures, medication management and a comprehensive care program that includes physical therapy, massage, acupuncture and specialist referrals. This approach allows the center to offer patients drug-free, non-addictive options for pain relief.

Manonmani Antony, triple-board certified physician and owner of Sussex Pain Relief Center, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of a groundbreaking new treatment called DRG stimulation. She said, “We’ve accomplished so much as one of the earliest adopters of interventional pain techniques in the region and we’re ecstatic to announce the arrival of DRG. This life-changing technology can produce an almost miraculous improvement of pain.”

DRG stimulation therapy is a revolutionary new technology for chronic pain patients who haven’t found pain relief through physical therapy, surgery, medication, psychological interventions or nerve blocks. When these treatments fail, people with chronic pain can turn to DRG stimulation, which is a new category of nerve stimulators.

DRG is highly effective in targeting chronic pain in the knee, foot and groin. A trial system for DRG offers patients the opportunity to find out whether DRG therapy is an effective treatment option for them, before they commit to surgery.

The new Rehoboth Beach office is located at 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Suite 305. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 302-514-7246, email contact@sussexpainrelief.com or go to sussexpainrelief.com.
