Sussex Technical High School hosted its annual advisory night Nov. 13.
Industry professionals and teachers met to discuss the school’s career and technical education programs. Each of Sussex Tech’s 19 CTE programs is supported by an advisory committee whose members work directly with the teacher to ensure Sussex Tech students are equipped with relevant skills and education upon high school graduation.
During the meeting, advisory committee members and CTE instructors discussed program improvements, workforce trends and ways to enhance student opportunities.
Sussex Tech leaders remain committed to building strong partnerships with the business community to support students who are working toward being part of the future workforce of Sussex County.
Sussex Tech is a public high school that prepares Sussex County students in grades 9-12 for their future success in workforce environments, higher education and the military.
