Sussex Tech remote learning to continue through March 5
Sussex Tech officials announced Feb. 26 that remote learning would continue through Friday, March 5.
The decision was made after a recommendation of the Delaware Division of Public Health out of an abundance of caution after recent positive COVID-19 test results among people connected to the campus child care center.
Officials had previously announced Feb. 23 that the district would move to remote learning through Feb. 26 after positive test results connected to the child care center.
The district encourages families to monitor students for any COVID-19 symptoms, which may include fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches, fatigue, chills, shaking with chills, loss of smell or taste, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or headache, congestion or runny nose without a known cause such as allergies.
