T-rex Planet
Event has passed
Beginning June 18, T-rex Planet will land at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury. Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, June 18, and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, June 19.
There will be a range of fun and engaging activities designed to appeal to and engage all members of the family. This event simulates what it would be like to experience the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods firsthand. “Tracey” (a young T-rex) greets guests once every three hours and can be found walking and playing around the exhibit.
The main exhibit features life-size, ultra-realistic animatronic dinosaurs. Visitors can look at these creatures, learn about them and even ride a few. Including rides and skeletons, there are more than 40 lifelike dinosaurs at the exhibit. T-rex Planet includes a fossil dig where young paleontologists can dig up ancient bones, a Dino Bounce area with dinosaur-themed inflatable bounce houses and more.
General admission is $19 per adult, $23 for children ages 1-12 and free for children under the age of 1. Admission includes a tour of the Dino exhibit and unlimited access to the Fossil Dig, basketball and darts games, Dinosaur Band, Dino Theatre and Dino Bounce Castles. It also includes a game, Dino Soar!, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
There are additional costs for dinosaur rides, bungee pull and face painting.
