Taking Action - Emboldening Voters discussion set Feb. 13

The Sussex County League of Women Voters will host outgoing board president of the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, to facilitate an open discussion on Taking Action - Emboldening Voters at its League, Libations and Learning social gathering set for 12 to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Iron Hill Brewery, 19815 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach.

Grace can be expected to draw on her extensive experience in political activism in Maryland. Since retiring from careers in medical research and running a computer consulting company, she has been a board member of the Cape Shores Homeowners Association and serves as secretary of the Greater Lewes Civic Coalition.

As part of the League, Libations & Learning series, the event is open to anyone interested in supporting the league’s efforts to empower voters and defend democracy. The discussion will follow luncheon service, with separate checks provided. Participants will have ample time for questions and discussion.
