Tammy Nails and Spa in Rehoboth Beach keeps customers looking good

Tammy Nails and Spa in Rehoboth Beach is the culmination of a classic American-dream story. After emigrating from her native Vietnam, owner Tam “Tammy” Le worked in several salons in the Rehoboth area before going into business for herself.

Although she admitted she was nervous about her first business venture, Le said she wants her shop to provide the best service in the area. Tammy Nails is a full-service nail salon that offers manicures, pedicures, nail design, full nail sets and fake nails. “Whatever the customer wants, we can do it,” she said. Le said the salon would soon offer hair services as well.

Le said the salon also provides numerous discounts for special occasions, such as homecomings, weddings and graduations. Gift certificates are also available. “I want the customer to walk out happy,” she said.

The salon opened in late July and has been building up a steady base of customers. “When they first come in here, they like it, they go home and tell their family, and their family tells people and brings in new people,” Le said.

It’s the commitment to giving friendly and high-quality service that Le would like to be the hallmark of her salon. “I want my customers to know we do a good job,” Le said.
