The Taormina Shopping Center on Silicato Drive in Millsboro held a festive tree lighting Dec. 6 where food, fun and carols were the order of the evening. Santa was on hand to take gift requests and the Millsboro Middle School Treble Choir sang carols to make the nighttime bright.
Silicato Development sponsored the evening to help promote the tenants and the shopping center in addition to bringing the community together for a wonderful evening. There are 12 units in Taormina Square Shopping Center of which nine are open and three more coming in 2019.
Businesses participating in the evening were Blooming Boutique, Bayside Gifts, Treasures, Yellow Fins Bar & Grill, East Coast Garden Center, Brick Works Brewing and Eats, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Print Coast 2 Coast and Silicato Development.
