Teen dies following Milton shooting
A teen has died from injuries sustained during a July 22 shooting on Collins Street in Milton.
Police responded at 4:47 a.m. to the 14000 block of Collins Street for a report of a shooting and found a 19-year-old man shot in the upper torso. Police said they began lifesaving efforts, and took him by ambulance to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said the teen died July 23. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.
Police said the teen was living in a shed on the property when someone fired several shots into the shed, hitting the victim.
