Artist Terry M. Isner will bring his show Make America Sweet Again to the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center. This show is an evolution of Isner's PEZ series. An opening reception is set from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5.
Isner said, "The show is a photographic mash-up of cultural events, politics, shameless product endorsements and PEZ." Isner's work is inspired by music, movies, TV, social events and pop culture. "I love to intertwine the commercial world with graphics, toys, cartoons, fonts, iconic images, colors and shapes for whimsical storytelling," he said.
This is Isner's sixth show at CAMP Rehoboth, and, like his other shows, the art in Make America Sweet Again is relatable to everyone.
In addition to exhibiting his work, Isner has donated several pieces over the last 15 years to CAMP Rehoboth's fundraising events and other fundraising events around the country. CAMP Rehoboth Community Center is at 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
