Three Insight Homes models win Best Green Home awards

Insight Homes announces that three of its models have won Best Green Home awards. The Vandelay at Fox Haven won in the 2,000 square foot and under category; the Elaine at Stonewater Creek won for 2,001 to 3,000 square feet, and the Frank II at Summercrest won for Best Green Home 3,001 to 4,000 square feet. The Regal Awards were presented May 29 at the Baycenter in Dewey Beach by the Home Builders Association of Delaware.

Entries are judged by a panel of industry experts. All single-family home entries were evaluated for incorporating green features, design approaches and sustainable building practices. “We’re thrilled that HBADE has recognized our models as having the best green features,” said Rob Elliott, senior vice president. “We strive to be both beautiful and efficient for lifelong home ownership.”

The Sales and Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Delaware has been presenting the Regal Awards for 23 years to recognize excellence and outstanding accomplishments in the building industry. HBADE is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders. Since it was founded in the early 1940s, NAHB has served as the voice of America’s housing industry.
