Three sign letters at Cape Henlopen
Three Cape athletes along with family, coaches and friends gathered in the Cape rotunda Feb. 7 to reveal their college choices and sign letters of intent for a particular sport.
Lillian Fisher will attend Bucknell University to participate in cross country and track and field. The Bison of Bucknell compete in the Patriot League for Division I sports. Bucknell is located in Lewisburg, Pa., and has 3,700 undergraduate students.
Ashley Carrier will attend DeSales University where she will participate in track and field. DeSales is a private university in Center Valley, Pa. The Bulldogs have 2,500 undergraduate students. They compete in the Division III level’s Middle Atlantic Conference.
Olivia Burkentine will attend West Chester University where she will play lacrosse. West Chester University is located in West Chester, Pa. The Golden Rams have 15,000 undergraduate students. They compete at the Division II level in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and Eastern College Athletic Conference.
