TidalHealth Primary Care welcomes new provider in Millsboro
TidalHealth Primary Care in Millsboro recently announced Rina Ghorpade, MD, has joined the practice.
Ghorpade earned her medical degree from the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences & Research in India. She completed her residency in internal medicine through the Canton Medical Education Foundation, affiliated with Aultman Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital and Northeast Ohio Medical University in Canton, Ohio. During her residency, she also served as a clinical instructor in internal medicine.
Ghorpade is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association. Her clinical interests encompass endocrinology, infectious diseases and hematology/oncology. A dedicated researcher, she has made notable contributions to research at the University of Pennsylvania, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and case presentations. During her residency, she was honored with the prestigious Frederick C. Whittier Excellence in Research Award.
Outside of her professional life, Ghorpade enjoys practicing yoga, strength training, swimming, watching TV and traveling.
