Tidewater Landing replaces community sign

November 9, 2023

Tidewater Landing residents have replaced the front monuments at the entrance to the community off Robinsonville Road near Lewes.

The original monuments, which were installed during construction, never really captured the love of residents. They felt the painted, nontreated wood monuments, which required regular maintenance, were a poor reflection of the beauty and value of the community, which boasts homes valued between $800,000 and $1.2 million.

Once the homeowners association board comprised all residents, it began the process of replacing the monuments. Board member Enrico Attanasio met with multiple contractors over a year. Eventually, a design by Rowe Property Maintenance incorporating a sign developed by Phillips Signs was approved by the board and proposed to the community. Residents overwhelmingly supported a special assessment to replace the monuments, and the new stone monuments were completed in June 2023.
