Time for change at county council level

October 8, 2024

As set forth in many letters published in the Cape Gazette and discussions on social media platforms, it is more than evident that Sussex County residents are fed up with rampant overdevelopment. It’s time for a change in our elected officials. I commend our neighbors in Districts 1 and 2 for voting out the old guard of Sussex County Council. Now it’s time for District 3 residents to do the same.

We have a choice, so let’s exercise it. Jane Gruenebaum will be a breath of fresh air in an otherwise musty, developer-friendly council. She will bring reason to the table when considering proposals. She will consider the potential impact on the environment, our trees, our open spaces, wetlands, wildlife, our infrastructure, our schools and even the availability of healthcare.

C’mon, my neighbors in District 3, it’s time to flex our collective muscles and vote for Jane Gruenebaum for a change.
