Timothy William Knox Jr., auto mechanic
Timothy William Knox Jr., 42, of Lewes passed away suddenly of congestive heart failure Monday, Nov. 16, 2020. He was born March 15, 1978, in Wilmington, son of Francine Knox Coschignano and the late Timothy W. Knox Sr.
Tim graduated from Sussex Technical High School, class of 1996. He worked as an auto mechanic at Rehoboth Auto Repair for 20 years. Tim was known for his passion for watching the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. He also loved his family very much, but his true love was his dog LuLu who went everywhere with him.
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by one brother, Francis L. Knox of Lewes; one sister, Allison Knox of Milford; one sister-in-law, Stacy Knox; four aunts, Sue McVey Schanz of Summerfield, Fla., Rosemary Rein of Cuenca, Ecuador, Joanne Knox Chiappetta of Lewes and Eileen Knox Dawson of Rehoboth Beach; two nieces, Taylor Nicole Knox of Seaford and Dru Cunningham of Milford; and two nephews, Zane and Chase Knox, both of Seaford.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m., at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks must be worn, and social distancing protocols must be observed by anyone participating in any aspect of the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
