TKo Hospitality has been recognized as the top fundraising company for the 2024 Delaware Heart Walk campaigns, with a total of $45,000 going to support the American Heart Association’s mission of saving and improving lives through cardiovascular research, education and advocacy.

TKo Hospitality, led by Drew DiFonzo, vice president of operations, competed against major players in healthcare, including ChristianaCare, which ranked second statewide with $42,000, and Beebe Healthcare, which placed third with $40,000.

TKo Hospitality’s commitment to heart health extends beyond fundraising. Thomas Harvey, TKo Hospitality chairman, serves as leadership development chair for the heart association’s Delaware board of directors, demonstrating the company’s dedication to driving impactful change. Also, DiFonzo has been named the 2026 Southern Delaware Heart Walk chair, ensuring continued leadership and momentum for the initiative in the years to come.

The Delaware Heart Walk campaigns, which include the Wilmington Heart Walk and the Southern Delaware Heart Walk in Rehoboth Beach, raised a total of $525,000 in 2024, and attracted more than 5,800 participants statewide.

“TKo Hospitality has set the standard for corporate involvement in the Delaware Heart Walk,” said Jim Murphy, American Heart Association Delaware executive director. “Their exceptional fundraising efforts and leadership contributions are instrumental in advancing our mission to build a nation of lifesavers by increasing CPR education and empowering communities to take lifesaving action.”

“We are incredibly proud of our team’s dedication to this cause,” said Harvey. “Heart disease affects so many lives, and we are committed to making a difference. With Drew DiFonzo leading the charge, we look forward to continuing our support and raising the bar for future Heart Walk campaigns.”
