Trio Caliente to play The Room at Cedar Grove April 2

Fiery flamenco, pop Latin and soulful vocals are the hallmarks of Trio Caliente, three musicians who will heat up The Room at Cedar Grove near Lewes, at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, April 2.

Proceeds benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit supporting young musicians and aspiring culinary professionals.

Along with flamenco, Trio Caliente plays salsa, reggaeton, gypsy rumba and bossa nova with a punch of R&B vocals.

“Get your dancing shoes on,” said Paul Cullen, co-founder of Paul Kares and founder of The Room at Cedar Grove event venue. “It’s going to be hard for the audience to sit still when the flamenco guitar gets going.”

The group draws inspiration from Rodrigo y Gabriela, the Gipsy Kings, Pink Martini, the Buena Vista Social Club and Aretha Franklin.

Tickets are $25 each, and food and beverages are available for a separate fee.
