Rich Giannola of Milton snapped this shot March 14 at Gordon’s Pond in Cape Henlopen State Park. “On this nice, spring-like day, a bald eagle perched for more than an hour on this pole to the enjoyment of birders, hikers, and bicyclists alike. I snapped this wide-angle photo as my wife and I walked the trail, heading south.
