Vanderwende's in Dewey Beach open for business

Bridgeville-based ice creamery opens second location

Vanderwende's at Dewey opened its doors for business May 1.

This is the second location for the Bridgeville-based ice creamery.

At 23 Bellevue St., the shop is at the intersection of Bellevue Street and Route 1. The shop will be seasonal, open until Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The shop is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Memorial Day weekend. After that, it will be open every day from 11 a.m to 10 p.m.
