VFW Post 2931, Meineke pay tribute to veterans
VFW Post 2931 and Meineke Care Care in Lewes honored veterans this past Veterans Day by providing a free lunch while they waited for free oil changes.
Drives heading north and south on Route 1 couldn't miss the unmistakable smoke and smell associated with a chicken barbecue. For lunch veterans received a large chicken breast, baked beans, coal slaw and pickles.
David Repass, Meineke owner, said this is the second year for Veteran's Day special. There were 93 oil changes provided.
