Vintage vehicle show to benefit Blades fire department Sept. 6
The Antique and Custom Car/Truck Show to benefit the Blades Volunteer Fire Department will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 6, at the fire department, 200 East Fifth St., Blades.
Car enthusiasts from New Jersey to Virginia are making plans and polishing their hubcaps as they prepare for this event to return. Vendors are checking stock and putting their extra time to good use as they await the date. Nonprofits and private citizens are designing and building their carnival booths.
There will be something for everyone, including an independently judged antique and vintage car and truck show, in addition to specialty vehicles that will be displayed on site. A variety of food trucks, crafters, and vendors will be on site, inside and outside. A carnival will be set up to entertain children and adults. There will be a misting tent, live music, a pet-friendly water station, giveaways, 50/50 raffle and more.
