June 3, 2017

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, Weis Markets celebrated the grand reopening of its remodeled Delaware stores in Lewes, Millsboro, Millville and Rehoboth Beach. To celebrate the reopenings, the company held a ribbon cutting May 25 at the Lewes store, and donated 1,000 gallons of Weis Quality Milk to the Food Bank of Delaware. Weis will also make $500 donations to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition in Rehoboth Beach and the Children's Beach House in Lewes.

Each store features upgraded décor, a new salad and soup bar, and expanded variety in the deli department. The Lewes store also added a new pharmacy, a pizza oven, self-checkout lanes and expanded seafood variety. The Millsboro store added a new refrigeration case featuring fresh-cut fruit. The Rehoboth and Millville stories expanded their varieties of organic and natural products.
