Zombie Fest draws thousands to Milton

October 19, 2022

It was that time of year again, when Milton turns into “Dawn of the Dead” and is overrun by the undead.

Milton Theatre’s annual Zombie Fest drew thousands to downtown for a day of music, activities and a celebration of all things All Hallows Eve.

The Oct. 15 event saw six different circus performers, three bands on the Quayside Stage and a whole area devoted to kids’ games and activities. Unlike last year, it was a perfect fall day, so the culmination of the festival, the Zombie Walk, went off without a hitch as creatures of the night made their way down Union Street.

One of the big attractions this year was the street performers, who put on all manner of wild stunts, including David Darwin, whose act included sword swallowing and juggling while riding a tall unicycle.
