A DAY WITH THE TUTTLES

We were up and on the road at the crack of dawn last Sunday. The GPS was set for Chesapeake, VA, 177 miles from our home in Lewes, DE.  We were on a rain-kissed journey to spend the day with Will Tuttle, Ph.D., author of THE WORLD PEACE DIET, and his visionary artist wife, Madeleine Tuttle.  They are on a multi-state speaking and performing tour bringing a message of compassion and empowerment to communities seeking to move toward nonviolence and genuine sustainability.
I had been hoping to meet the Tuttles ever since I discovered THE WORLD PEACE DIET just a month ago.  I must admit that I had been unaware of their work and of the transforming power of this amazing book, this movement--a reminder that "when the student is ready, the teacher appears."
I had not been ready until now to read, understand or process the magnitude of the far-reaching implications of our food choices. I knew about the health connection, the unimaginable animal cruelty and the environmental degradation, but I had not plummeted the psychological, mythological, religious and social depths of these issues. Now I am ready and eager to dig deep and move forward. Won't you join me at http://www.worldpeacediet.com/
