Delaware Shore Donates to Easter Seals Georgetown Rehab

Ike Eisenhour, Executive Director of Delaware Shore, presents the donation to Linda Forte, Easter Seals.
Delaware Shore has completed the 2015 Hockey For Haxton (H4H) event with its donation of $1100 to the Easter Seals Rehab Center in Georgetown, DE.
The scholarships awarded to Katie Fuhr (Smyrna), Sydney Ostroski (Cape), and Lexi Gooch (Cape) also totaled $1100 for each senior.
Next year's scholarship event is planned for the Milton Elementary School gym on December 17 (Saturday) and December 18 (Sunday) with the younger aged teams playing on Saturday and the older/adult teams competing on Sunday.
This event is held to honor Amanda Haxton, a Cape Henlopen HS, Delaware Shore, and East Stroudburg University field hockey athlete, who passed away from injuries suffered in an auto accident several years ago.
