Sussex County Councilman Sam Wilson, a Georgetown farmer, is not as excited as most about the new technology Sussex County government has been rolling out over the past two years.

He said government knows too much and is too involved in people's lives. “Our independence is being lost. Government is like a snake that is growing and growing and growing,” he said during a recent meeting. “They [government] will know more about me than I know myself. They will tell me how many cows I have.”
