Thank you to all who worked to make Saturday, December 19, a successful day in memory of Amanda Haxton at the H4H indoor tourney raising funds for the H4H scholarships and for the Easter Seals Rehab Center in Georgetown, DE. Thank you to all the teams (30) and individuals (approximately 240) that expended their energy playing the game- from upstate to downstate and beyond. A special thank you to our volunteer umpires who gave their time to make sure the game were played safely: Lexi Gooch, Peyton Medd, Tina Gooding, Stacie Spicer, Karli McCall Swope, Anna Steiner, Marcella Sabbagh, Jacki Coveleski, Erin Ricker, Beth Conaway, Amanda Frampton, Deb Hauth, and Jennifer Hagan. And thanks to the volunteers who manned registration, concession, and the raffles (Chelsea Schellinger, Sue Lore, Danielle Renken, Jacki Warren, Denise Wesbrook, Christina Connors, Carri and Gordan Davis, Mandy and Mike Ciabattoni, Karen Duffield, Terri Gooch, Amy and Chuck Gooding, Paula Ryan, Tonya Karl, and Bonnie Truitt): what a great job you did. Apologies to any I have missed in the above list.

Special thanks to our sponsors: Dr. Eric Stancofski and The Cape Surgical Group, Dr. Ron Sabbagh and The Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware, Kids' Ketch of Lewes, Carrie Lingo's Elite Connection Field Hockey Camp, The Sport Factory of Lewes, Irish Eyes of Milton and Lewes, Ronny's Garden World in Smyrna, and Dogfish Craft Brewery in Milton and Rehoboth Beach and Dogfish Inn in Lewes.
A very special salute to Danielle Renken, her teammates and coach, Amanda Frampton; what a great job of planning, to Dan Cook for his press coverage and to Eric Grooch for all the candid photos. Finally, thanks to the clean up crew at Mariner Middle School gym and especially the upstate Mt Pleasant parents who stayed an extra 20 minutes after their final game to help. And the clean up crew, lead by Alex and Stephanie Brown at the Milton Elementary School gym.
You all are so special and have the Haxton spirit.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016 H4H scholarship winners: Lexi Gooch of Milton, Sydney Ostroski of Lewes, and Katie Fuhr of Smyrna.

Sincerely,
