Seaside Nature Center is gem within a gem

If you haven't done it, you need to check out the renovated Seaside Nature Center at Cape Henlopen State Park. A new touch tank, displays and store enhance the great aquariums and reptile terrariums already in place.

Also, the Friends group has sponsored a live osprey-watch camera with a TV screen in the center. This past weekend, I watched the male and female feed their offspring. The nest is atop a tower at PSI Pharma just outside the park. The nature center is also the hub for most of the park’s great programs. Go to destateparks.com/park/cape-henlopen for more information.
