Summer League Week 6
Elementary Division-
On Monday evening the Tides and the Dunes played to a 1-1 result. Harlow Draper scored for the Tides while Evan Chubb had the goal for the Dunes. In the other game in the division, the guards eked out a 1-0 win over the Waves. Brielle DiStefano had the goal for the Guards.
Wednesday night’s results had the Guards defeating the Tides by a final of 5-0. Brielle DiStefano had all the goals for the Guards. In the other game, the Waves defeated the Dunes by a final of 3-0. Goals were scored by Emilia Antonis, Evelyn Hale, and Madelyn Harrington.
The regular season ends on Monday with game time at 6:00. The playoffs begin on Wednesday with team practice at 5:15 and game time at 5:30.

Senior Division-
In the first game on Monday, the Pumas dominated consistently over all four quarters to earn a 6-0 win over the Corals. The passing game for the Pumas was outstanding throughout the game. Lacy Bayley (2), Abby Kane, Maci Long, and Hailey Moorer (2) had the goals for the Pumas.
In the middle game, the Artics took the first half lead behind goals by Riley Patro in the opening quarter and a second quarter goal by Layla Conn. The Baffins got into the groove in the third quarter with goals by Logan Stiles and Llly Ashby to tie it up entering the final quarter. Ashby’s goal at 8:10 put the Baffins into the lead but Conn’s goal at 6:12 tied it back up. Riley Klopp got the game winner with 2:07 remaining. The Artics continued the pressure to earn a penalty corner at the end of the game but were unable to score.
The nightcap was a strong defensive effort by the Seahawks and the Bengals. Sommer Dorman was able to break through with 28 seconds remaining in the third quarter to put the Seahawks ahead. Brynn Bowen was able to score at 6:07 in the fourth quarter off a long assist pass from Emma Weatbrook to tie the game. In a replay, Bowen scored the game winner at 4:28, again off an assist from Westbrook.
On Wednesday evening the Bengals defeated the Baffins by a final of 3-0. Alayna McNulty opened the scoring with a goal at 7:10 in the 1st quarter. After the halftime break Brynn Bowen scored in each of the final two quarters to finish out the scoring for the Bengals. With the win, the Bengals move into second place in the league. In the second game of the evening the Pumas clinched a spot in the championship game with a 5-1 win over the Seahawks. Lacy Bayley (2), Brynn Evick and Ryla Wilber (2) did the damage for the Pumas. Sommer Dorman had the solo goal for the Seahawks. The nightcap saw the Artics defeat the Corals by a final of 3-1. Layla Conn, Abrielle Leonard, and Riley Patro had the goals for the Artics while Talia Scerra had the goal for the Corals. The second team in trhe championship game will be decided by the final two games of the season on Monday and Wednesday. The Bengals, Baffins and the Artics are challenging for the spot. The Corals and the Seahawks will determine the final position with their efforts in the final week.
One change in the master calendar, the championship game will be played at 9:00 pm on Wednesday. The teams approved the change due to too many conflicts during the week of July 24th.
