Ayre Craft concert set for May 7 at UUSD

Ayre Craft, a small vocal ensemble under the direction of Dr. Marcelle Schiff, invites the public to experience “The Sound of Life” at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 7, at the Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware church, Route 9, 30486 Lewes Georgetown Hwy., Lewes.
Admission is $15 at the door, and students under 18 attend free. Musical selections will evoke feelings and memories from many of the most meaningful shared moments in life. Included in the program are jazz standards, pop, art music, and show tunes by composers such as James Taylor, Leonard Bernstein, and Barry Manilow.
With accompaniment by Veronica Knier on piano and Ken Schleifer on percussion, Ayre Craft will treat the audience to an evening of warmth, beauty, fun, and memories in a program suitable for all ages.
