April 8, 2016

Phyllis Geraldine Watts, 62 of Rehoboth, was called home to God's kingdom Monday, April 4, 2016.

Born in Detroit, Mich. to the late Buster and Geraldine Ramsey, Phyllis was one of 12 children. She dedicated her life to helping others as a CNA working for Beebe Medical Center for more than 20 years.

In her spare time, Phyllis adored collecting Beanie Babies, Snowbabies and porcelain dolls as well as boating in the bay with friends and family. Above all, her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

To continue her legacy of caring as well as honor her son's donation, Phyllis chose to participate in The Gift of Life program so that she may continue to help others.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Reed, Shirley Ramsey and Joyce Corkell; and also her son Timothy Edward Draper.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Watts; son John Draper Jr. and his wife Angela Draper; grandchildren John III, Sydney, Cameron Jack and Mary Jane Draper and Elijah Lecates; as well as great-granddaughter Autumn Draper. She is also survived by her brothers Robert, Stephen and David Ramsey; and her sisters Norma Reed, Patricia Reed, Elsie Savarese, Rebecca Collins and Angie Thomas and their families.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 12, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Short's Funeral Home, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be private.
