The 38th District Democrats hosted the 13th annual picnic at West Park in Ocean View May 28. Candidates for U.S. Congress, insurance commissioner and lieutenant governor gathered at the event with campaign material and plenty of handshakes, talking to the gathered Democrats and taking their turns at the podium to highlight their goals.
