A Rehoboth Beach public service message in 1954

June 14, 2016

It was a time after the end of World War II, a time before the war of terrorism spread around the planet.  In Rehoboth Beach, the police department in cooperation with the Delaware Safety Council posted this billboard in what appears to be the median of Rehoboth Avenue to remind visitors and residents to drive carefully.  The people in this photograph are unidentified.
